Directories of Psycho-Educational Clinics

FOR years directories have periodically appeared in this country of clinics for the mental examination of children which have not included a large number of so-called psychological, psycho-educational, educational, and mental hygiene clinics for the reason that these clinics have not had a "psychiatrist in attendance at regularly scheduled hours" or because the director has not been an M.D. These clinics or bureaus have been rejected on a priori grounds without any attempt at investigation or evaluation.
