Evaluation! We all talk about it, but do we really do it? I know we make evaluative judgments all the time, and in educational circles we frequently survey students about faculty performance and course worth. But how often do we substantively evaluate all the aspects of an educational program? As the author points out, we do not have to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of our educational program all the time, but we just might want to periodically do so. In addition, it makes sense to evaluate different aspects of an educational program on a more routine basis. What prevents us from doing so? Is it time, a lack of resources, or perhaps we simply do not know where to begin, maybe it is some other factor? Whatever the reason, this book belongs in your actively used reference library!
