BIEBER, PhD., is an associate professor in the department of Educational Policy Studies and Evaluation at the University of Kentucky where he has served as Director of Graduate Studies, Interim Department Chair, and Director of the Office of Higher Education Research. He currently serves as the University’s Faculty Director for its Graduate Certificate in College Teaching and Learning. His research examines faculty work issues and graduate preparation for faculty careers. His authored and co-authored work has appeared in The Journal of Higher Education, Research in Higher Education, and The Handbook of Higher Education: Research and Practice.
