TCR Yearbooks: Call for Proposals
by Gary Natriello - April 11, 2019
The editors of the Teachers College Record announce a call for proposals for future TCR yearbooks.
The TCR Yearbooks provide an opportunity for scholars to assemble work of enduring value to the fields of education and educational research. Each yearbook engages a set of scholars who cover a single topic in depth. The yearbooks are available as part of individual and institutional subscriptions to the Teachers College Record to ensure maximum distribution.
At this time we are pleased to announce an open call for proposals for yearbooks to appear in 2021 and beyond. The complete guidelines for preparing yearbook proposals are available at: http://www.tcrecord.org/Content.asp?ContentId=21679
For full consideration, we would like to receive proposals for 2021 yearbooks no later than January 31, 2020. All proposals for yearbooks should be submitted using the regular Teachers College Record submission system.
Recent yearbooks have included:
The Every Student Succeeds Act: Critical Multicultural Perspectives from the Field
Facilitating Institutional Change for Racial Equity in the Educational Pipeline
Self-Regulated Learning: Conceptualization, Contribution, and Empirically Based Models for Teaching and Learning
Pathways to a Profession: An Examination of Teacher Education Reform in New Jersey
Mapping the High School Reform Landscape
Accountability Practices and Special Education Services: Impact and Implications
We look forward to working with editors and chapter authors to continue this tradition of outstanding scholarship in the field.
