    MARIA J. COOLICAN is a faculty member in the School of Education at the University of Michigan. Her interests include teacher education, school reform, language acquisition, and school leadership. She directs the Ann Arbor Languages Partnership, a clinical teaching partnership between the Ann Arbor Public Schools and the School of Education. She is the lead faculty for world languages teacher education; she also teaches courses in the educational leadership and policy program.
