University of Utah LAURENCE PARKER is a professor in the Department of Educational Leadership & Policy at the University of Utah. His area of research and teaching focuses on critical race theory and its application to leadership and policy at the K–12 and higher education levels. His most recent work focuses on the work of educational cultural negotiators and critical race theory and it will appear in a forthcoming issue of Race Ethnicity & Education.
