He recently co-authored two book chapters, one on LGBT college students, and one on the impact of study abroad on graduate students. His research interest are in the areas of inclusion, identity development, and career development.

JIMMY L. HOWARD, JR. is currently a Ph.D. student in Educational Leadership in Higher Education at Clemson University. His scholarship focuses on critical race and gender issues in higher education. Prior to Clemson, Jimmy worked at the University of Delaware where he focused his efforts in the areas of residence life, sustainability education, educational technology, social media, assessment, and leadership education.
