DANIELLE HERRO is Assistant Professor of Digital Media and Learning in the College of Education at Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina. Her research includes two primary focuses: investigating ways to move DML forward in educational environments, in particular mobile-device use, game-based learning, and Web 2.0 tools, and conceptualizing, researching and providing scalable STEAM education to K-12 schools. She has recently published work on game-based learning or STEAM education in the Journal of Science and Technology, the Curriculum Journal, Theory into Practice and Professional Development in Education.
