Local Practices: The High-School System of Pittsburgh

The extra-curricular program in the development of Pittsburgh high schools has the hearty support of the superintendent of schools and the associate superintendent in charge of high schools. The superintendents' department, however, realizes that the success of the extra-curricular program depends largely upon the wisdom, foresight, sympathy, and enthusiasm of the principal and those delegated by him to carry it out.
