Youth in the Colleges

Representative studies that have led to a change in college programs in terms of student's and society's needs are reviewed in this chapter. They furnish a basis for a better understanding of the changing colleges and the current emphasis upon general education to meet needs of modern youth more effectively than programs of the traditional college.
