Designing Programs to Meet the Special Needs of Youth

The purpose of this chapter is to develop a design for that part of the program which is different for various students and to point out phases of the total program that are important to the success of the specialized offerings. It is recognized that the manner in which a school meets common needs of youth has important implications for the design of the program to meet special needs.
