Guidance of the Gifted

by John W. M. Rothney & Norbert E. Koopman - 1958

Guidance is often defined so broadly that it includes all the activities described in the previous and following chapters of this volume. In this chapter guidance activities will be differentiated from those described elsewhere largely in terms of the form of the activity, the subject-matter content, and the constituent but not ultimate ends which it seeks to achieve. The chief difference in form of activity will be in emphasis upon the face-to-face situation.
