JEROME CRANSTON, PhD, is the Executive Director: Student Academic Success, and is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education, University of Manitoba. Dr. Cranston researches and teaches as part of an interdisciplinary, international “community of inquiry” on topics of education, peace and human rights education, and social justice. His current project, examines perceptions of peace and peace education among teachers who work in refugee camp schools in an attempt to better understand how the commitment to a pedagogy of peace might improve the likelihood of living well collectively.
