Curriculum Implementation and Staff Development as Cultural Change

Curricula that respond to legitimate pressures need to be developed and implemented. However, the successful implementation of such programs will not just happen. Our purpose in this chapter is to examine the problems involved in planned curricular change with particular reference to staff development in schools.
