JENNIFER MITTON-KUKNER is an Assistant Professor of Assessment, Literacy, and Qualitative Research Methods in the Faculty of Education at St. Francis Xavier University (StFX) in Nova Scotia, Canada. Prior to working at StFX, Jennifer taught in different schools in the Canadian Maritimes as well as overseas in the country of Turkey. Her research publications include articles in Professional Development in Education, Thinking Skills and Creativity, and the Asia-Pacific Journal of Teacher Education. Her research interests include multiliteracies in the content areas, pre-service teachers and the LGBTQ community in schools, teachers as researchers, and students as writers and researchers.
