University of Rochester E-mail Author STEPHANIE J. WATERMAN, Onondaga, turtle, is an Associate Professor at the University of Rochester, Warner School of Education & Human Development. Her research interests are Native American college experiences, Native American Student Affairs, the role staff play in student retention, Indigenous methodologies/pedagogy, college transition, and critical race theories. She is a co-editor of Beyond the Asterisk: Understanding Native Students in Higher Education, (Stylus).
