University of Northern Colorado E-mail Author DANA WALKER is an Associate Professor of Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education at the University of Northern Colorado. Her participatory action research has focused on after school and classroom-based arts and media programs for emergent bilingual youth, including Youth Radio and Radio Arts in the Multilingual Classroom. She recently published a book entitled, A Pedagogy of Powerful Communication: Youth Radio and Radio Arts in the Multilingual Classroom, (Peter Lang, 2014).
