SALLY J. ZEPEDA, Ph.D., is a professor at the University of Georgia in the Department of Lifelong Education, Administration, and Policy, and she is a Fellow in the Institute for Interdisciplinary Research in Education and Human Development. In total, she has written 28 books and almost 100 refereed journal articles and countless book chapters related to the work principals do to support teachers, instructional supervision, and professional development. In 2014, Dr. Zepeda and her co-author received the Paula Silver Case Award from the UCEA Journal of Cases in Educational Leadership for the most outstanding case published in the 2013 volume year. Dr. Zepeda’s latest book, Job-embedded Professional Development: Support, Collaboration, and Learning in Schools, was just released by Routledge. szepeda@uga.edu

Atakan Ata is a Ph,D. student and graduate assistant at the University of Georgia in the Department of Lifelong Education, Administration, and Policy. His research interests are teachers’ professional development, school leadership, psychology, and civic engagement. He currently serves as an active member of AERA Division A's Graduate Student Committee and the editorial board of the Interdisciplinary Research Conference at the University of Georgia. His (co-authored) recent publication is "Validity and Reliability Study of Quality of School Work Life (QSWL) Scale."
