University of Arizona E-mail Author ALBERTO ARENAS is an Associate Professor in the College of Education at the University of Arizona. Before teaching at the University of Arizona, he taught at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He specializes on the intersection between environmental and sustainability education with sociology and history of education. Most recently Arenas published "Connecting Vocational and Technical Education with Sustainability" in The International Handbook of Research on Environmental Education (2012). In 2013-2014, Arenas was a Fulbright scholar in Mexico researching environmental and sustainability education at the K-16 levels.
