Texas Tech University E-mail Author ARETHA MARBLEY is an Associate Professor and Director of Community Counseling in Counselor Education at Texas Tech University and Regional Six Director and President Elect for the National Association for Multicultural Education. Her research areas in mental health and education are critical multicultural theory, the experiences of communities and people of color, and diversity, multiculturalism, and social justice. She is a National Holmes Alumnus scholar whose respect for human diversity is reflected in her work.
