Musings: Building Better Support Systems by Gene Maeroff - September 13, 2000The students who have had the most difficult time meeting even the more modest standards of the past need a better support system that reaches beyond the schoolhouse if they are going to attain higher standards. Formal education is about much more than what occurs in school.
