The Huron Institute, Cambridge, Massachussetts Eleanor Farrar is senior research associte with the Huron Institute, Cambridge, Massachussetts. Her research interests include the inplementation of federally sponsored school improvement efforts, shifting social themes regarding youth and work, and the relations between policy and research. For the past several years, she has been conducting research on American high schools and the current education and work movement.

His interests include the role of the federal government in the implementations of reform programs, and the response of local education agencies to federal initiatives. He is currently conducting research on school district continuation of NIE-sponsored innovations in career education.
