Founded in 1985, the Consortium for Policy Research in Education (CPRE) unites researchers from five of the nation's leading universities to improve elementary and secondary education through research on policy, finance, school reform, and school governance. CPRE products focus on how policies and practices contribute to effective reform. CPRE not only publishes research reports, but also sponsors forums and workshops on issues policymakers grapple with daily.
