Sarah Capitelli's website serves as an example of a teacher's inquiry: the evolution of Capitelli’s investigation into the development of her first and second grade students’ language development becomes the focus; in turn, the video clips she selects provide both context for understanding her inquiry and provide some evidence that allows viewers to explore some of her hypotheses about language use.

An exhibition slide show and accompanying discussion (pdf) address 3 questions:

What aspects of teaching and learning can best be represented using multimedia?
How can those aspects be represented with multimedia most effectively?
How can multimedia representations of teaching and learning be used to support teachers’ development?
