Team Teaching Provides Professional and Personal Support

Posted By: Virginia Stead on February 18, 2017

Great article that clearly exonerates poor student behavior and illuminates the power of dysfunctional working conditions to discourage even the most determined teachers. Team teaching, that is assigning two full time teachers to each grade, more than doubles the benefits to students and teachers. Moving from one to two teachers per classroom involves minimal infrastructure costs and is quick to implement. Not much recent research has been done in this area, but here's a link to what's out there: https://scholar.google.ca/scholar?hl=en&q=team+teaching&as_sdt=1%2C5&as_sdtp=&oq=team+t
