Homeschooling Prejudice

As a principal of a high school, my experience with homeschooled parents and their children was very positive. I made very effort to accommodate the requests of homeschoolers, whose parents desired access to our athletic program and our higher level math and science classes---should add, that after a while, most enrolled their sons or daughters in our full academic program (excluding health/biology). What I could never understand is the negative attitude of most of my principal colleagues towards the practice.
