Preaching to the Choir

Q: What's teaching and learning got to do with it?

A: Nothing.

Follow the money:

Look at who is supporting the legislation:

The operative sentence is: "Participating states will also have the opportunity to partner with intermediary nonprofit organizations to identify, support and grow the next generation of programs."

Who are these "intermediaries" likely to be?

Well, there's the Broad Center

And there is the George W. Bush Presidential Center. Who are the education affiliates?

What is involved here is much more than "neoliberalism."
