Impossible with sacred/secular dichotomy!

|Reverence would indeed be a good thing in teachers, leaders, students and everybody in general. However, I think it is a profound mistake to cut reverence off from its links to the divine and sacred. Attempting to come up with a purely secular account reinforces the problems associated with religious discrimination in the status quo system and perpectuates many of the problems plaguing our public system. |
