* Excellent work

I grew up poor. As a journalist and a school volunteer, I have seen the middle class educators and their treatment of poor children. I was invited to a workshop by one of Payne's team at a upper class liberal church. The program infuriated me so much I almost had to leave. It didn't teach about poverty as much as it made the participants even more comfortable with their own sense of superiority.
Thanks for taking on such a powerful, and damaging, movement.
