It can not happen that way if school managers live in ivory towers, interested only in maintaining the system at the expense of students who just require counselling.
Most schools' headteachers (kenyan), would not want to soil their hands and perhaps 'waste' time in 'petty' issues. They rather get rid of the 'problem' and continue to focus on results, now that the system is exams results oriented.
Let's take time to find alternative ways of helping the 'Lindas', perhaps their problem is based on a possibility that she is highly potential and she needs to be quided to find her vision and pursue it.
