|This article assumes that schools will continue to exist. But it is possible that we need a new mode of learning, one that allows everyone to receive individualized attention. This is possible with the computer, but not with current learning material. See the recent book, Tutorial Distance Learning, published by Kluwer, for details.|
We need to stop talking about schools, and consider other possibilities.
