Transformative Learning and imagination

Posted By: Alex Nelson on August 30, 2002

I would like to draw your attention to my work on imagination as a partnet to critical reflection in transformative learning. It is found in my Ph D Thesis (unpublished) from University of Technology, Sydney Australia 1995, The role of imagination in autobiography and transformative learning. John Dirkx has noted my paper at the 1997 AERC at Oklahoma, and Ed Taylor's ERIC paper on Transformative Learning notes my work in his References. I think that imagination is worth condsidering along withj the other factors in adult transformation. Thanks for your work over the years in Transformative Learning. It has generated a lot of interest in adult learning and provides asymapathetic theory for autobiographical work. Peace
