first sentence

Posted By: Susan Monas on September 13, 2003

"This thesis is about teacher education" is hardly a good sentence, I'd argue. The seventh-grade English teacher in me objects to starting ANYTHING with a weak verb. But more than that, the word thesis carries a double meaning: a point that can be argued, or, a written work describing original research.
