Online publishing for a SIG group & for a new journal?
|Posted By: Kelvin Seifert on May 20, 2002|
|I am currently the president of the SIG on Teaching Educational Psychology. I am looking for ways to use online publishing for the benefit of the SIG.|
The SIG already has a listserv (firstname.lastname@example.org) that has been helpful to some members, but my impression is that it is not serving the membership as broadly, or as steadily, as would be ideal. I'm hoping to find some ways to supplement the listserv via online publishing.
I am also co-editor of a new journal about to be born, called Teaching Educational Psychology (via Information Age Publishers--first issue in October 2002). For better or for worse, that journal is currently planned as primarily a print (hard-copy) publication. Given the current economic state of academic publications, however, I'm interested in ways that this journal (and others like it) can diversify into online realms.
