U.K. - National College of School Leadership and Alberta Based - Intelligence Online

Posted By: Phil McRae on November 6, 2004

Hi Mary,

The National College for School Leadership in the United Kingdom currently has 19 'online' facilitators working as mentors within their online community of practice.

NCSL has a massive initiative underway to expand their online community of leadership practice. A link of research off of their website:

Another, Alberta based example that you might be interested in perusing:

My doctoral studies are currently aligned around online communities of practice and the pre-requisite KSA's of participants to embrace this environment.

Regards,
Phil McRae
