Character Education

Posted By: Virginia Richardson on November 15, 2001

Doris. Let me recommend the Volume 33, # 6 issue of the Journal of Curriculum Studies. This issue focuses on Manner in Teaching, a project that focuses on the virtues as
acted upon within classrooms--both in terms of teacher actions, and what the the teacher expects of and directly teaches the students. Character education is only one form
of this concept. In terms of school-level aspects, you should refer to the article in this issue by Todd Chow-Hoy.
