YONGMEI NI, Ph.D., is an associate professor in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy at the University of Utah. Her research interests include economics of education, educational policy, and quantitative research methods. Her recent and ongoing work examines how school choice affects student outcomes through influencing teacher working conditions, teacher commitment, and principal turnover.
