Graduate Reading Educational Programs

Posted By: Deborah Harrell on September 17, 2003

One of the most effective methods in teaching reading often comes from interest(s). If the student can become inspired by "virtually anything," it helps! A creative reading teacher can motivate a student to read by following cues as to the student's interest and level of attentiveness. This is where I have found success in High School students with Special Needs, Mainstream, and Developmental Disabilities.
