what is learning?

Posted By: Amton Mwaraksurmes on August 6, 2002

I think the question about learning is very important. It depends on what one defines 'learning' to be. I personally feel that learning comes from within (internal) rather than external. If I can adhere to this line of thinking, then this should help me think about my instructions in the classroom. How can I organise my instruction in such a way that promotes this kind of learning (internal)? If learning must be internal, then I got to make students do the thinking rather than me as a teacher do the thinking for them. thanks.
