Read a Post for In Your Face: Post Millennial College Students and the New Confidence | | Reply to this Post | | If you are not part of the Solution, you are also the Problem! | Posted By: Deborah Harrell on September 17, 2003 | | It is an excellent protrayal on how those who do do and those who teach...from another generation liken to "in fight!" You would like the new lesson plans on the AOL program because there is not much critical thinking or logical progression in the program.
Metaphoric expression is the modality of the future. Students learn by doing and demonstrating, hand on. Barrie Bennett proved this theory with Gardner.
I will never understand why certain teachers think that their style of writing is the only style of writing. The figurative language is a necessary method of explanation of the actual "trenches" situation. I welcome you to Florida and Miami where ESOL, Creole and other ethnic students reside since 1998! Teach here in Florida where the FCAT scores are the lowest in the country. Some of us are a little busy with passing the reciprocity agreement for teacher's salaries and lobbying state government to care about a few literary terms. I saw the point clearly. But I speak a few other language in addition to English.
Let me personally apologize for the writing as a Journalism Major from Columbia College Chicago...Home of the Chicago Tribune.
I was too busy for Medill. I personally enjoyed the gay, light language from a generation I miss. Need a salary increase?
