Much can be done to increase the scope and validity of record data through a straightforward and honest use of the record in work with students. Students can profit greatly from a periodic review of their school record with a counselor or teacher, providing the spirit of this review in constructive. A studentís record should not be used as a club. His strengths as well as his weaknesses should appear on his record.
