This volume reports the findings of a historical and interpretative study of teacher education in New Hampshire during a thirty-year period in which certain basic policies and programs for the preparation of teachers were brought to fruition and yielded results which contribute significantly to the understanding and insight needed in shaping new ends and purposes and establishing new procedures in the education of teachers.
