Two Reports From Head Start

The first report comes from Mrs. Margaret P. Stillwell, Supervisor, Project Promise; the second comes from Dr. R. V. Allen, Director, Head Stan Project, University of Arizona. One deals with mainly Negro children in a university town among the cornfields; the other, with mainly Indian children in the desert places of southern Arizona. Both are reporting on immediate experiences, trying to say—quite simply—how it was.
