    ALAIN BREULEUX, Ph.D., is a learning scientist collaborating with school teachers and administrators to co-design, foster, and investigate sustainable technology-enabled networks for learning and advanced pedagogical practices. In recent years, he has led research-practice partnerships to understand how children and educators can best use Internet and multimedia tools to construct and share knowledge. He is Associate Professor in the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology, and Associate Dean (Infrastructure) Faculty of Education, McGill University.

    STEPHANIE J. BECK has a wide range of research interests within the fields of language, linguistics, and education. She is currently exploring the learning environments and teaching strategies that promote productive and meaningful dialogue in elementary and secondary classrooms. She is also interested in examining the discursive patterns that arise within professional learning communities contributing to and supported by classroom video data. Through her research and collaboration with teachers and educational consultants, she hopes to better understand the ways facilitation, research, and teaching roles are/can be negotiated in research-practice partnerships. Beck is pursuing a Ph.D. in the Learning Sciences at McGill University under the supervision of Prof. Alain Breuleux.
