    KARIM MEDICO LETWINSKY is Department Chairperson and Assistant Professor in the Doctoral Department of Educational Leadership at Wilkes University. She also serves as the Director of Graduate International Education Programs. At Wilkes, she teaches master and doctoral level courses in Effective Instruction, Curriculum, Assessment, and Quantitative Research/Statistics. Current research is in collaboration with the Office of Overseas Schools and with international schools throughout Eastern Europe and the Middle East. The focus is on improving mathematics literacy through the professional development of K-12 mathematics teachers. Additionally, she serves as an international mathematics and leadership consultant.
