    TIMOTHY S. O’CONNELL, PhD is a Professor of Recreation and Leisure Studies at Brock University (St. Catharine’s, Ontario, Canada). Tim’s research interests include reflective practice, pedagogical use of reflective journals, sense of community in outdoor recreation, and sense of place. He is the former editor of the Journal of Experiential Education, currently co-edits Research in Outdoor Education and has authored/co-authored four books.
