    JOSEPH R. JONES, PhD, is known widely for his research addressing bullying and homophobia in educational environments. As such, he has published copiously on these topics. His third book, Unnormalizing Education: Addressing Homophobia in Higher Education and K-12 Schools, was released in 2014. Most recently, he was awarded a national award from Auburn University for his scholarship. He currently teaches at Mercer University in the Tift College of Education.
