    ANNE DOUGLASS is Assistant Professor of Early Education and Care at the University of Massachusetts Boston where she directs the Bachelorís degree program in Early Education and Care in Inclusive Settings, and a Post-Masterís Certificate Program in Early Education Research, Policy, and Practice. Her research focuses on early childhood policy implementation, professional development, quality improvement, organizational change and leadership. She studies relational organizational dynamics, and how they contribute to early educatorsí capacity to apply new knowledge to improve their teaching practices and their partnerships with families. Her research has been published in a wide range of academic journals, including Academy of Management Review, Journal of Early Childhood Research, Early Childhood Research and Practice, and Early Education and Development. Her current research includes a study of a quality improvement intervention on trauma-informed practices in urban childcare centers. Dr. Douglass received her PhD from the Heller School for Social Policy at Brandeis University, her masterís degree in education from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education, and her bachelorís degree in political science from Wellesley College.
