    DANA WALKER is an Associate Professor of Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education at the University of Northern Colorado. Her participatory action research has focused on after school and classroom-based arts and media programs for emergent bilingual youth, including Youth Radio and Radio Arts in the Multilingual Classroom. She recently published a book entitled, A Pedagogy of Powerful Communication: Youth Radio and Radio Arts in the Multilingual Classroom, (Peter Lang, 2014).
