DONNA J. SATTERLEE, EdD works full time as an assistant professor at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. She teaches courses in Human Ecology and Child Development. Furthermore, she has 20 years of experience as an early childhood development specialist focusing on experiential learning. Her research using the natural environment as a platform for learning to learn has led to several articles for the National Association for the Education of Young Children, coauthored by Grace Cormons: 10 Ideas to Get You and Your Child Exploring Outdoors.
